Head Light and Tail Light tinting 

Finding the right headlight tint or tail light tint is the hard part but with LSN Wraps we have already done the hardwrok for you and can provide a huge range of various tints. Head and tail light tinting is all about customising your vehicle to suit the overall look of the car and your style, regardless if your after a plain tint or something with a bit of flair LSN wraps can deliver.

BIG QUESTION - Is it Legal ?

Australian laws specify that the light emitted from headlights must be white/yellow and the tail lights must be red. They also can’t block more than 15% of the headlight beam, otherwise they’re considered to be against the law. Rear lights must always be visible from a minimum of 200 metres as well.

While it’s possible to purchase headlight tint and tail light tint in various colours with the above in mind you need to consider weather this is the riht thing to do.

What does this mean? It means that our clear tints will offer your lights great protection on the roads and some of our FX tints are not a problem, while Darker or colour range such as yellow, orange, blue range  tail light tints will look good for photographic purposes but could be problematic if you get behind the wheel with the tints still on. 

Are there any benefits ?

• Better Protection for your lights from chips, scratches and dents caused by stones and debris off the road.
• Better protection from the ultraviolet rays of the sun, which can cause your lights to develop a foggy/yellow  appearance.
• if you have existing scratches, cracks and dents in your car lights, these become less obvious when tinting is applied.
